I ordered a blanket from The Citizenry because the product page made it sound like it would be thick, soft, and a specific color. Cute idea, but what actually showed up was much thinner than expected, and the color was not even close in person.
I understand screens can make colors look a little different, obviously, but this felt like more than that. For the price, I naively assumed it would resemble what was described. Disappointing, and I won’t be ordering again.

The order was mostly fine, so I’m not trying to make a huge deal out of it. But one item was wrong, and I feel like it’s fair to point that out since I paid for what I actually ordered.

I tried to order a throw, but the site kept freezing when I got to checkout. My cart emptied itself twice and the discount code wouldn’t go through either. After about 30 minutes of messing with it, I just gave up lol. Annoying experience overall.

For the price, I expected way better quality. I also reached out to support and felt like I was getting copy-paste replies instead of actual help, which made the whole thing even more frustrating.

I ordered from the-citizenry.com i’m a little torn. The material looks really nice and feels good quality, but comfort-wise it’s firmer than I expected. Am I missing something, or is it just not as cozy as the price makes you hope it’ll be? I still use it and don’t think it’s bad, but it hasn’t become my favorite like I thought it might

I reached out to The Citizenry about an issue with my order and thought it would be straightforward, but then it just turned into days of waiting. I emailed, filled out the contact form, checked back again, and still didn’t get anything actually helpful.
When they finally did respond, I was relieved for a second, well, not really relieved, because it felt like a generic copy-and-paste message and didn’t solve the problem at all. For items at this price point, that kind of support is really frustrating. I don’t think I’d order from them again unless their customer service gets a lot better.

I was expecting a lot more for the price. The finish just didn’t feel as polished as I’d hoped, the stitching was a bit uneven, and after only light use, one corner already started to come loose. I reached out to customer support and they were polite enough, kind of along the lines of, “Sorry to hear that, we’ll look into it,” but it didn’t really change the fact that the item felt rushed. Not the quality I thought I was paying for

The box showed up all crushed and barely taped shut, and it looked like it had been through a lot. Because of that, the item ended up with some scratches on it. Not sure what happened there, but it definitely wasn’t packed well

I’ve ordered from them twice now, and both deliveries showed up late. What bothered me most was that there weren’t really any clear updates, so I was just left guessing what was going on. To me, it felt disorganized and a bit frustrating

I expected a lot more for the price. The item looked really nice online, but once I got it, it felt average and definitely not as “luxury” as it seemed. Then the shipping and extra fees made the whole thing feel even more overpriced. When I reached out, I mostly got the usual policy excuses, which was frustrating because it didn’t really address the issue. I don’t mind paying more when something feels worth it, but this just didn’t.

I really wanted to feel good about buying from them, but the details around sourcing and sustainability just felt vague to me. For what they charge, I expected MUCH clearer proof and transparency. It made me a little uncomfortable, and I’m not sure I’d buy again

I actually really liked what I ordered from The Citizenry, so no complaints there. But man, the exchange process was kind of a pain in the ass. It took longer than I expected to hear back, and I had to follow up once, which was annoying. They did sort it out in the end, so it wasn’t a total disaster or anything. Just slower and more hassle than it needed to be.

The color and size were far from what was shown in the listing. I was hoping it would fit the look I had in mind, but it ended up being a reminder that photos can be really misleading when shopping online

I don’t know, the whole site just felt really plain to me!!! The colors and product designs looked super washed out, like they were going way too hard on the minimal look!!! I was hoping for warmer, cozier home stuff, but everything kind of blended together and felt the same!!!

I was happy with it when it first arrived because it looked nice, but after using it for a short time, the quality just didn’t seem great. A few days in, I was already feeling disappointed. i don’t think it’s worth the money

I’m still waiting on my refund, and at this point I’m 100% convinced it’s just not coming unless I keep chasing them. I reached out to support, but they basically dodged me instead of giving a straight answer. Super frustrating...

The stuff was nice and felt well made, but the prices were higher than what I’d usually be comfortable paying. I don’t mind spending a little more when something really meets my standards, but this felt just a bit above what I’d expect.

I waited weeks for my order to show up and barely got any updates the whole time. I kept checking like, is it even moving?? Definitely not an experience I’d want to repeat.
